Finance calculators

The money maths people actually have to do — what a loan costs each month, what a monthly investment might grow into, how GST splits on an invoice. Each calculator shows the workings rather than just a figure, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

What a loan actually costs

The EMI calculator gives the instalment, the total interest and the payoff date. The home loan version does the same over mortgage-length tenures, where a quarter-point change in rate moves the total by a surprising amount.

The eligibility calculator runs the other direction — from income and existing commitments to the amount a lender's multiples would stretch to — which is worth checking before an application, since applications leave a footprint.

What money grows into

SIP for monthly contributions, including a step-up schedule for instalments that rise with income. Compound interest across different compounding frequencies, and simple interest for the flat-rate cases that short-term and vehicle loans still quote. CAGR reduces two investments held for different lengths of time to one comparable number.

Tax and everyday percentages

GST is added or stripped at any rate and split into CGST and SGST or IGST — the split being the part invoices most often get wrong. The percentage calculator covers change, share and the reverse case: ₹1,180 including 18% GST, so what was the base?

What these figures are, and are not

Estimates from the inputs you give. They exclude processing fees, bundled insurance, prepayment rules and lender-specific rounding, and none of them is financial advice. Use them to compare options, not to predict an offer.
